In the special topic “Debating an Issue with Opposing Opinions,” Grade 12 students were equipped with essential skills for presenting viewpoints, constructing convincing arguments and evidence, and responding to others with respect and objectivity.
Beyond theory, students engaged in hands-on practice through an inner–outer circle debate model, discussing familiar and relevant topics such as “AI – Opportunity or Challenge?” and “Gen Z and the Shift in Traditional Behaviors.”
Throughout each round of discussion, students demonstrated quick thinking, logical reasoning, thoughtful questioning, and effective team collaboration.
These experiences serve as valuable preparation for their future academic and professional environments, where strong critical thinking skills give young people a meaningful advantage.
