On July 17-18, 2024, all elementary school teachers had the honor of attending training sessions with Dr. Le Ngoc Tuong Khanh, Deputy Head of the Department of Primary Education at the University of Education in Ho Chi Minh City. The training focused on two main topics:
- Understanding the content of the 2018 General Education Program for the Literature subject and connecting the curriculum with its representation in Vietnamese Language textbooks.
- Teaching methods for the Vietnamese Language subject within the 2018 General Education Program and effective ways to apply them.
Through the training, teachers gained a thorough understanding of the principles and objectives of the 2018 General Education Program as a whole and mastered the specific content of the Literature subject (Vietnamese Language in primary school). The practical activities organized during the sessions not only enhanced the teachers’ professional knowledge but also equipped them with effective teaching methods for real-world application.
