Exploring Dong Nai’s History – An Inspiring Learning Journey of Lac Hong Bilingual School Students
Grade 9 students of Lac Hong Bilingual School recently embarked on a meaningful educational journey as part of the Local Education Program, helping them gain a deeper understanding of Dong Nai’s history, patriotic spirit, and development over time.
Discovering Dong Nai’s History and Culture from Diverse Perspectives
Through a series of local education and experiential learning activities, students had the opportunity to:

Learn about literary works, traditional performing arts, folk music, and distinctive architectural styles that reflect the historical and cultural values of Dong Nai, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of its nature, people, and cultural heritage.

Research historical documents, participate in group discussions, and create learning projects, developing their analytical and creative thinking skills.

Visit Tan Hiep Prison, a historical site that represents the indomitable spirit of Dong Nai’s people during the resistance wars.

Explore demographic characteristics, labor trends, local employment markets, and sustainable development solutions while reflecting on the role and responsibilities of Dong Nai’s young generation in building and protecting their homeland.
Developing Presentation Skills – Fostering Holistic Growth
At the end of the trip, student groups confidently presented their learning projects through various creative formats such as paintings, models, video clips, skits, and posters.
This activity not only enhanced their presentation, teamwork, and critical thinking skills but also nurtured patriotism, pride in their homeland, and civic responsibility as young citizens of Dong Nai.
