On the afternoon of April 6th, 2026, students from Lac Hong Bilingual School had the valuable opportunity to participate in a special exchange program at Lac Hong University, welcoming a delegation from the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Consul General Mrs. Melissa Brown, along with representatives from the fields of education and culture.
During the program, Consul General Mrs. Melissa Brown delivered an engaging talk on “Vietnam–U.S. Economic Relations and Opportunities for Developing Vietnam’s Human Resources.” Her presentation offered students meaningful insights into global cooperation trends, workforce demands in an increasingly interconnected world, and the essential skills young people need to succeed on the global stage.
Notably, Lac Hong Bilingual students confidently took part in the exchange by asking thoughtful questions and engaging in direct discussions with representatives from the U.S. Consulate General about international study and career opportunities, as well as the skills needed to thrive in a multicultural environment. This enriching experience not only broadened their perspectives but also nurtured a global mindset, strengthened communication skills, and inspired their aspirations to become future global citizens.
