With the aim of helping children learn English in a natural and intuitive way, similar to how they acquire their mother tongue, the English teaching team at Lac Hong Bilingual Kindergarten participated in a professional training workshop entitled “Teaching English Through the First-Language Acquisition Approach.”
The workshop offered practical insights and engaging hands-on activities, focusing on:
- A deeper understanding of how young children naturally absorb language.
- Experiencing and applying the 4SLPA method developed by Budding Bean for learners aged 3–12.
- Exploring the process of nurturing early language development through the APE approach by Tiny Bean for children aged 1.5–3.
- Reflecting on the essential role of teachers in creating a lively, meaningful, and language-rich learning environment.
The valuable insights gained from this training will support teachers in designing age-appropriate and effective English learning experiences, helping children develop language skills naturally and confidently in the years ahead.
