A journey of exploring history through thinking, emotion, and creativity
Continuing a proud and emotional learning journey through the project “Heroic Footprints,” the project wrap-up day for Grade 5 students at Lac Hong Bilingual School took place in a solemn, lively, and meaningful atmosphere. This event was not only an opportunity for students to look back on their exploration of significant historical events of the nation, but also a chance to gain a deeper understanding of the context, developments, and sacred values of the struggle for independence and national defense.
A series of highlights from the project closing day
Alongside project reports, video screenings, and research presentations, the wrap-up day featured a series of creative and engaging experiential activities. Students enthusiastically assembled paper tank models, visited exhibitions of propaganda posters and historical documents that vividly reflected patriotism and resilient fighting spirit. Most notably, the historical skits scripted and performed by the students themselves left a strong impression and deeply moved the audience.
As the project comes to a close, Grade 5 students not only enriched their knowledge of History and Geography and strengthened essential soft skills, but also spread a sense of pride and love for their homeland. These “heroic footprints” will continue to inspire Lac Hong Bilingual School students to learn, explore, and grow alongside the nation’s history.
