INTRODUCING THE LIBRARY OF LAC HONG BILINGUAL SCHOOL
From our earliest days, Lac Hong Bilingual Highschool has nurtured a vibrant library – our treasure trove of knowledge and culture. Within its sunlit walls, students, teachers, and school staff alike find solace, inspiration, and endless opportunities for learning and growth.
1. An Overview of Lac Hong Bilingual School’s Library
Guided by the school’s leadership, in October 2019, our school established two dedicated reading rooms in Block E, encompassing an area of 220 square meters. These include:
+ A reading room for Primary School students: 50 seats in a space of 100m2
+ A reading room for High School students: 60 seats in a space of 120m2
Both rooms are equipped with 3 computers connected to the Internet and one barcode scanner. This streamlines book borrowing with more convenient information retrieval, enhances group study sessions, and frees up our library staff to offer assistance to students.
At LHBS library, resources and information are regularly updated. In addition to our diverse collection of captivating books exceeding 8,000 titles, LHBS also invests in modern equipment, providing peaceful, well-ventilated reading spaces and a convenient catalogue system.
Our attentive and enthusiastic librarians make finding materials effortless. Over the years, our library has become a safe haven for generations of students and teachers at Lac Hong Bilingual School, serving as a hub for all kinds of intellectual pursuits – study, exchange, discussion, and research.
