To strengthen teachers’ professional expertise and keep them up to date with modern educational trends, Lac Hong Bilingual School organized two professional development workshops: “STEM Education in a Changing Context” and “Guiding Students Through Science and Engineering Research.”
The workshops were led by Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education. They provided teachers with practical insights into implementing STEM education in the digital age, particularly in response to the rapid growth of artificial intelligence. Teachers also explored effective processes for developing, organizing, and supporting student-led science and engineering research projects.
Through real-world examples, professional discussions, and collaborative activities, teachers gained valuable perspectives and practical strategies for nurturing students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, and passion for scientific inquiry in the classroom.
Lac Hong Bilingual School remains committed to the continuous professional development of its teaching staff and to creating an innovative learning environment where STEM education and scientific research empower students to build essential skills, think creatively, and confidently meet the challenges of the future.
